Mario Tokarz is an expert in AI governance and ethically aligned system design, with a strong background in product development and risk mitigation. He is the co-founder of the VBE Academy and founder of RightMinded AI, where he advises public and private organizations on integrating ethical, social, and legal risk assessments into technology development.

With a career rooted in the automotive and mobility sector, Mario previously held senior management roles at BMW and Argo AI, where he contributed to large-scale programs in autonomous driving and AI infrastructure.

Today, his focus lies in operationalizing responsible AI practices. He is a certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Auditor and serves as both Lead Assessor and Lead Trainer for IEEE’s CertifAIEd™ program, which evaluates AI systems for alignment with key values such as transparency and accountability.

Mario’s work centers on applying practical methodologies such as Value-based Engineering (VBE), based on the ISO/IEC/IEEE 24748-7000 standard, to ensure that complex technologies serve both organizational goals and the public good.
