Michael Gillis is a seasoned trial attorney with more than thirty years of experience representing individuals, consumers, and businesses. His practice focuses on resolving complex legal matters through negotiation, arbitration, and litigation, and his persistent advocacy has resulted in countless successful outcomes for his clients. A graduate of Boston College, he earned a Trustee Scholarship to Suffolk University Law School, where he served as President of the Student Bar Association and received the Wyman Award for outstanding civic achievement. After beginning his career defending products liability and commercial cases for major corporate clients, he co-founded Gillis & Bikofsky, P.C. in 1988.
In addition to his legal practice, Gillis has held numerous leadership roles within the legal profession, including President of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, service on the Massachusetts Bar Association Board of Delegates, and chairing a national committee of the American Association for Justice. He is widely recognized for his professional excellence, earning top honors from Boston Magazine, the Boston Globe, Vogue Magazine, and Martindale-Hubbell. Deeply committed to civic, religious, and charitable service, he has served on the boards of numerous nonprofit, educational, and community organizations, coached youth sports, and remains actively involved in parish and charitable leadership.
