About the Degree

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) major focuses on the analysis and development of electrical and computer systems. Students will analyze and build both hardware and software systems for a variety of purposes such as control, signal processing, communication, decision making and artificial intelligence.

The program emphasizes mathematical rigor in analyzing and practical experience in building systems, and invites students to consider how such systems impact and are impacted by their users and society more broadly. It provides a suitable preparation for aspiring engineers, entrepreneurs, and researchers.
