Calculus II
Course Objectives
- Develop a deeper understanding of calculus concepts beyond the AP Calculus AB curriculum.
- Master integration techniques, including substitution, integration by parts, trigonometric substitutions, and partial fractions.
- Apply integration to compute areas, volumes, arc lengths, and surface areas of various shapes.
- Explore sequences and series, including tests for convergence and divergence, power series, and Taylor and Maclaurin series.
- Study parametric equations and polar coordinates, including their derivatives and integrals.
- Investigate vectors in two and three dimensions, including vector operations, dot product, cross product, and applications.
- Introduction to differential equations and their applications.
