General Ethics
Description
The course aims to develop some essential elements of ethics that are foundational to bioethics. First, the course explores the history of ethics through its main thinkers and controversies. Particular attention is given to explaining the developments that have led to the current challenges in ethical discourse. Second, the course offers a systematic view of ethical living as the pursuit of happiness through virtuous living.
