Mechanics of Materials

Description

Mechanics of Materials is a branch of engineering that examines how materials deform and fail under different types of loads and stresses. The course provides students with the tools for structural design of mechanical elements, using applied structural analysis methods for systems that can be modeled as one-dimensional elements. It covers key topics such as stress and strain, axial loading, torsion, bending, shear forces, and deflection.
