Quantum Mechanics I
Description
This course will cover the oundational principles of quantum mechanics, including wave-particle duality and the Schrödinger equation. Students learn about wave functions, probability densities, and quantum operators, as well as key concepts like the Heisenberg uncertainty principle and quantum measurement. The course also explores quantum systems such as potential wells and the harmonic oscillator. and the hydrogen atom, along with angular momentum and spin. Advanced topics like perturbation theory, quantum tunneling, and an introduction to quantum computing are also introduced, providing a comprehensive foundation for further study in quantum mechanics.
