Course Objectives
By the end of Latin 2, students will be able to:
- Expand their Latin vocabulary and recognize and interpret various word forms.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of Latin grammar and syntax, including noun and verb declensions, verb conjugations, and the use of cases.
- Read and comprehend authentic Latin texts of intermediate difficulty.
- Engage in conversations and write short compositions in Latin on various topics.
- Gain a deeper understanding of Roman culture and history through the study of Latin literature and selected cultural texts.
