Bill’s deep-rooted connection to his faith traces back to his childhood and has only deepened over the years. A proud Bostonian, he began his journey as an altar-server for two Boston Archbishops, followed by enrollment in a high school minor seminary. He later served in the United States Marine Corp before pursuing studies at Boston College, where his unwavering commitment to his faith continued to evolve.

Alexis Haughey, an MIT engineering alumna and current PhD student in the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurial Strategy group at MIT’s Sloan School of Management, explores the development and commercialization of cutting-edge university research in her doctoral studies. During her previous tenure at the MIT Technology Licensing Office, Alexis filed numerous patents for MIT entrepreneurs, reviewed research agreements, and provided mentorship to dozens of startups.
For Alexis, founding CatholicTech represents the fulfillment of her work and dreams, providing a unique opportunity to integrate her lifelong commitment to the Catholic faith with her extensive experience studying and engaging with innovation.

Jeff Kleck is the Dean of Academics at CatholicTech. Most recently of Stanford University, where he officially mentored faculty in technology commercialization for the last eight years, Jeff also mentors fellow ethnically diverse, racially diverse, and neurodivergent colleagues in entrepreneurship and technology entrepreneurship.
Jeff is an acknowledged expert in venture creation, having built and led several successful ventures from the ground up and advising and mentoring numerous entrepreneurs through the same process. Jeff is a proud husband, father, educator, and leader in the fields of software and technology.
