College Night

Campus Life Update
Monday night was quite the time to be a CatholicTech student, with the Pontifical North American College’s annual College Night! The Catholic universities with study abroad programs in Rome come together for a night of prayer and fellowship. In today’s day and age, this is especially important, as it is a chance for Catholics from all over the US to come together and feel supported by the seminarians and by each other.
The day began like any other, with classes and meals together; in the afternoon, students took the train to Rome to go to the NAC. Once there, the event started with Vespers, a beautiful evening prayer, and then all went to dinner with the seminarians and sisters, followed by talks from Sister Peter Marie and Deacon Kyle, and live music from some of the talented seminarians. It was a great experience meeting some of the seminarians who are studying there and joining them on the roof for a stunning panoramic view of Rome.
As spring begins, campus is starting to bloom, and the air is warming up. Students are excited for this weekend’s possibilities, with trips to Rome to visit friends, and free museums for women this Sunday to celebrate International Women’s Day! Farewell until next week, and please keep our students in your prayers.
